Promoting Parks, Nature & Health Standing Committee

The Promoting Parks, Nature and Health (PPNH) Standing Committee has the task of working together across a number of parks agencies, to share Healthy Parks Healthy People resources and coordinate the communication of the importance and value of parks to the health of the community.

The Standing Committee meets quarterly, and reports biennially on its progress to the Parks Forum Board.

Current program activities include:

Healthy Parks Healthy People (HPHP) Program

Many of our member agencies share the HPHP brand, to build a stronger, common language to promote the environmental, social, health, cultural and economic values of parks. There are a range of program ideas and support documents which members share to support each others activities. To find out more, click here.

World Parks Day

Our members work together through the PPNH Standing Committee, to support coordinated activities across Australia, New Zealand and further afield on World Parks Day. To find out more, click here.
