Cultural Values
"Places of cultural heritage enrich people’s lives, often providing a deep and inspirational sense of connection to community and landscape."
Australia ICOMOS 1999 Burra Charter
Our parks play a critical role in supporting a diversity of cultural values within our communities. This includes conserving indigenous cultural landscapes, preserving european history, supporting cross-cultural engagement and outdoor events, and most of all, providing inspiration, reflecting much about the character of our communities.
