"In
the recent, devastating, Victorian fires not only did we receive
considerable fire fighting resources from other agencies in Australia
and abroad - we also received two rotations of over 40 rangers to
backfill critical gaps left by our staff who were fighting fires.These
rangers came from other States, but most importantly came as a direct
result of park agencies working together, at a time when we really
needed their help!"
