The international staff exchange programme is now open for agency registrations. Below you will find the
list of agencies that have registered for ISEP. This gives you an indication of the possible locations and organisations that can host you if you are interested in doing an exchange (provided there is a position available). Please contact Parks

Parklands Albury Wodonga
Parklands Albury Wodonga works in partnership with regional community and stakeholders to manage over 4,000 hectares of bush parks for conservation, heritage and recreation outcomes. Exchange opportunities are present for Rangers with leadership potential!
Nelson City Council
Nelson City Council's key roles include the provision of core local community infrastructure, community facilities and community development initiatives. The Council is offering an exchange opportunity for a senior parks manager or officer, familiar with the management of parks within both rural and urban areas.
New Plymouth District Council
New Plymouth District Council offers an attractive living environment that compares favorably nationally and internationally. Staff exchange opportunities exist in contract management, environmental management, community partnership, biodiversity, and asset management.
Christchurch City Council
As the second largest Council in New Zealand, Christchurch City Council is responsible for ensuring that 368,800 residents are well governed and provided for. Staff Exchange opportunities are available pertaining to park ranger and parks planning and asset management positions.
Department of Conservation
Department of Conservation has a leading role in conservation work that contributes to New Zealand's prosperity. Community engagement is one of the challenges and priorities for the Department, staff exchange opportunities exist in building the capability and skills to help tap into that potential resource.
Department of Environment and Natural Resources
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) brings together environment conservation and natural resources management. Staff exchange opportunities with DENR exist in recreation and tourism management, fire, biodiversity, planning, community engagement, GIS and IT, general rangers, senior rangers or managers.
NT Parks and Wildlife Service, Department of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport
NT Parks and Wildlife Service provide national parks and reserves protected area management for the Northern Territory. Staff exchange opportunities are present for park rangers, in conservation and community engagement.
